TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01:
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Meet & Assist at Cairo
International Airport by GAT Tours representative who will help you
through the Airport customs & formalities. Transfer to your hotel,
check in & Overnight in Cairo.
Day 02:
Breakfast at your hotel. Then your tour guide will meet you in the
reception of your hotel and transfer you to Giza. The day starts
with a guided tour of the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops,
Cherfrern and Mykerionos also known as the Great Pyramids of Giza
followed a guided tour of the Sphinx Monument.
Next is a tour to the Step Pyramid of Sakkara, the first pyramid to
be built, including a detailed history on Imhotep, the Egyptian
architecture who created this pyramid and how he accomplished this
major undertaking. Then your guide will transfer you by A/C coach to
Memphis, former Capital of a united Egypt for a tour of this area.
Little remains (the ruins were plundered to build Cairo) more than
the supine colossal statue of Ramsis ll and nearby a still
half-buried Hathor Temple. Then your guide will transfer you back to
your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 03:
Breakfast at your hotel and check out. The day starts with a guided
tour of the Egyptian Museum of antiquities near the city center in
Cairo. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art - the
largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over
250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit
dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold and
jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before
it was discovered in the 1920's when his tomb was excavated.
Then your guide will transfer you to Islamic Cairo. This tour starts
with the Citadel Fortress and Mohammed Ali Mosque (alabaster
mosque). On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali,
one of the landmarks of Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any
part of the city.
Finally, you’ll visit Old Cairo where you will visit many old
Churches like the Hanging Church & Saint Sergious Church, then move
to The Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra & at last visit the Islamic
Mosque of Amr Ebn ElAss.
Transfer to the sleeper train station to travel to Aswan , dinner &
overnight. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 04:
Upon arriving Aswan station, GAT Tours representative will meet &
Assist you. Then transfer to your Nile cruise. Embarkation at 08.00
am. Visit of the High Dam and the temple of Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo.
Visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris.
Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 05:
In the morning Sail to Edfu while breakfast. Visit the temple of
Horus in Edfu. Sail to Esna. Cross Esna lock. Sail to Luxor.
Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 06:
Buffet Breakfast. Cross to the west Bank, Visit the Valley of the
Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Free at leisure. Overnight in Luxor. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Day 07:
Disembarkation after breakfast. Free time. Then transfer to Sleeper
train station to return back to Cairo. Dinner & Overnight.

Day 08:
Early breakfast in the train. Arrive at Cairo train station , meet
GAT Tours representative & Transfer to your hotel. Free day for
shopping. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 09:
Transfer from hotel to Cairo International Airport for final
